I met Anita last year at a NaNoWriMo write-in, and we talked about self-publishing then. She felt that she should give it a try, and now she has two books published, with a third being written and she aims to publish it next Easter.

Lovely chat with Sarah-Jane tonight.
I think it’s clear that Sarah-Jane won this cookie-off with her chocolate chip cookies, against my misshapen but rather tasty oatmeal and raisin cookies. Next time!
Sarah-Jane’s website is: http://www.thebooklife.co.uk/ and you’ll find all of her contact details there.

Sorry if anyone is wondering where the writer chats have gone.
I had a meeting last night (Wednesday) of the local Literature Festival Committee (no less!), and tonight is the monthly Pub Book Club. And yes, it’s a book club, and it’s held in a pub. Double win!
Speaking of doubles (hic), tomorrow (Friday 14th November 2014) I have two writer chats scheduled – one with Gem Thompson, from Suffolk, who’s one of the Suffolk Daytime Word Sprint gang. We’ll be talking about apps and programs for writing. Or social media. Or both. We’ll see. That’s scheduled for 2pm. She has a book. Buy it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/British-Book-Social-Media-Marketing-ebook/dp/B00GV88ODU/
And in the normal 7pm slot, I have the prolific vlogger (yes, vlogger, as in video blogger) Sarah-Jane Bird on my show. She’s from my local Essex group, and you can catch her vlog at https://www.youtube.com/user/thebooklifenetwork/videos You should subscribe to her YouTube channel. Oh yes, you should.
Tonight my guest is Darren Wearmouth, author of First Activation (written with his brother Marcus and published through Amazon imprint 47North), Critical Dawn and Critical Path, written with Colin F. Barnes, and Sixth Cycle, written with Carl Sinclair.
